Glitter is a brand changing innovator bridge that brings the everyday user into the crypto world seamlessly

Can you tell us about your company/project?

David Dobrovitsky (Founder & CEO) -
Glitter Finance is a cross-chain bridge between the Algorand ecosystem and mostly non-evm-compatible blockchains. Our first bridge is a bidirectional bridge between Solana and Algorand. This bridge is coming onto testnet this week. Later bridges will include Algorand to Polygon, Algorand to Cudos, Algorand to Terra.

In addition, we will integrate yield pools in the bridge architecture, thus creating an investment platform and liquidity generator from the classic, cross-chain bridge structure. Lastly, we will add AI, algorithmic trading, and machine learning, to created an automated, DeFi 2.0 platform. The point of this is to automate DeFi trading, to create a service that easily brings DeFi profits to the general end-user, which will facilitate mass-adoption.

Can you tell us about the team behind this?

David Dobrovitsky (Founder & CEO) -
I am a serial entrepreneur in the DeFi space, a former CBDO of a big marketing and development agency, a long-time business developer for technical and financial services companies, as well as a long-time startuper. I have been building startups since 2015, and started in business development in 2011.

Others in the team are:

Mohammad Ghiasi - Principal Software Engineer - who is a development ambassador for the Algorand Foundation. He has created multiple technology projects in the the Algorand ecosystem, such as the well-known FAME token.

Shaghayegh Gharehgozly - who is an incredibly experienced Frontend Developer, who also works with the Algorand Foundation.

Farhad Shabhani - who is is our second backend developer, who is skilled in Teal, Rust, and Solidity.

Titus Adenugba - our CTO, who has worked on other DeFi projects with me. He is a very talented technical manager and administrator, with great experience in tokenomics.

Khalid Hassan - Financial Analyst - who comes from the equity investment and crypto trading field, is an experienced crypto investor, trader, and financial analyst.

Pradyumn Singh - A talented videographer and graphics designer, with whom I worked in multiple DeFi projects.

Kasjmier Leela - A talented UX/UI designer, who has created our website.

Ines Viega - A talented Business Operations professional, who is our defacto COO.

Jillian Godsil - our Ambassador, and a very-well known blockchain reporter and writer.

Akio Sashima - Director of Community, who is a top Algorand Ambassador

What is it that your project is trying to simplify/solve in this space & how??

David Dobrovitsky (Founder & CEO) -
There are two main objectives:

Help foster interoperability within the Algorand ecosystem.

Automate and simplify the creation of DeFi profits for the general consumer, to bring DefI profits into the mainstream.

What are your current marketing strategies being implemented?

David Dobrovitsky (Founder & CEO) -
First of all, we post updates on all major social media, with concentration on Twitter, telegram, and Discord. Secondly, we post in multiple languages, so that we can connect with people in multiple geographies. Thirdly, we are a platform-first project. We concentrate on creating brilliant technology and putting that out there, instead of trying to concentrate on our token

What has worked for you in terms of marketing & what has shown significant results?

David Dobrovitsky (Founder & CEO) -
The best results were reached by creating great technology. This was recognized by others in the Algorand ecosystem, or within the Estonia’s startup ecosystem, and thus we got very valuable organic press (such as an article in NASDAQ that mentioned us).

What has been the biggest challenge for you so far & how have you overcome it?

David Dobrovitsky (Founder & CEO) -
Technically, the lack of EVM compatibility between Solana and Algorand, was a challenge. It was overcome by deep technical ability and thorough internal audits. Technically also liquidity within the bridge was an obstacle, but was overcome by our partnership with Algoracle.

From the business perspective, it was at first difficult for me to find great technologists to create bring the vision to the reality. I overcame this by working deep within the crypto industry as a consultant.

How is Glitter Finance trying to build trust in web2.0 users so that they can start investing in web3.0 projects?

David Dobrovitsky (Founder & CEO) -
We are automating the DeFi investment process. By doing this, we intend to bring DeFi financial innovation into mainstream use.

Can we know more about Glitter Finance bridges

David Dobrovitsky (Founder & CEO) -
Yes these are oracle bridges, mostly between non-EVM compatible blockchains.m They are bidirectional, and have integrated yield pools.

What does a basic transaction flow look like from a user's perspective?

David Dobrovitsky (Founder & CEO) -
Our bridge will be on testnet later this week. I urge your viewers to go to our website and find out for themselves.

With the ever evolving digital landscape, where do you see your project in the next 5 years?

David Dobrovitsky (Founder & CEO) -
I am looking to create a complete remittance platform, complete with my own blockchain, which will facilitate the automation of DeFi, as well as ease of movement between ecosystems.
